Grinder

A grinder is a player who opts for the long game. Low stakes, extended sessions, methodical play. Instead of going for the big score, a grinder aims for small, consistent wins and careful bankroll management. In the context of online casinos, grinders often play through bonus wagering requirements at minimum bet sizes to minimise variance and preserve their balance.

The grinder approach makes mathematical sense for bonus clearing. The less you bet per round, the more rounds you can play without busting, and the more likely you are to come out with some of the bonus money intact after completing the wagering. A grinder betting $0.50 per spin will have a much smoother ride through 35x wagering than someone betting $5 per spin.

It's not glamorous. Nobody streams themselves grinding through a $50 bonus at $0.20 per spin for three hours. But it works. If your goal is to extract value from casino promotions rather than chasing a viral win, grinding is the rational strategy.
