Careers at CasinoWhistle

We are a small, remote-first team building a platform where real casino players share honest experiences. If you care about transparency in the online gambling space, we would love to hear from you.

Casino Content Writer

Remote Part-time / Freelance Open

We need writers who genuinely understand the online casino landscape, someone who knows the difference between a wagering requirement and a cashback bonus without having to look it up. You will write guides, how-to articles, and educational content that helps players make better decisions.

What You Will Do

  • Write 3-5 articles per week (350-700 words each) covering casino topics like RTP, payment methods, bonus mechanics, and responsible gambling
  • Research current industry trends to keep content accurate and timely
  • Write in a clear, engaging, and natural voice that connects with real players
  • Collaborate with the editorial team on topic planning and content structure

What We Are Looking For

  • Strong written English at native or near-native level
  • Genuine knowledge of the iGaming industry (slots, live dealers, licensing, payments)
  • Ability to explain complex topics in a way that feels accessible and helpful
  • Reliability and ability to meet weekly deadlines

Compensation: Per-article basis, competitive rates depending on experience.

Full-Stack Web Developer

Remote Part-time / Contract Open

We are looking for a developer comfortable with both front-end and back-end work. Our stack is PHP, MySQL, and vanilla JavaScript with no heavy frameworks and no bloat. You should be the kind of person who finds a clean, fast-loading page more satisfying than a flashy but slow one.

What You Will Do

  • Build and maintain features across the platform including user-facing pages, admin panel, and API endpoints
  • Optimize site performance (page load times, server response, image delivery)
  • Implement web best practices at the code level, including structured data, accessibility, and clean markup
  • Write clean, maintainable code that another developer can pick up without a manual

Requirements

  • Strong PHP and MySQL skills, comfortable writing raw queries without ORM dependency
  • Solid HTML, CSS, and JS with responsive layouts and accessibility basics
  • Experience with Linux servers, Apache/Nginx, .htaccess, SSL config
  • Understanding of web security practices (prepared statements, XSS prevention, CSRF protection)

Compensation: Project-based or hourly, discussed individually.

  • Identify and remove spam, fake reviews, and promotional content
  • Respond to user inquiries and feedback through the platform

Ideal Candidate
