FAQ
How do I write a review?
Create a free account using your email address and a username of your choice. Once registered, click "Write a Review" in the navigation bar, select the casino you wish to review, and fill in the form. You can rate the casino on a scale of 1 to 10, select a category that matches your experience, and add optional pros and cons. Reviews are published after a brief moderation check.
Do I need an account to read reviews?
No. All published reviews on CasinoWhistle are freely accessible without an account. You only need to register if you wish to write reviews, vote on helpfulness, or participate in comment threads.
How is the rating calculated?
When a casino first appears on CasinoWhistle, the WhistleRank is set by our editorial team based on a hands-on evaluation of the platform. As real player reviews come in, the score becomes a blend of the editorial assessment and the community average. The more verified reviews a casino collects, the more influence the player voice has on the final number.
What is the WhistleRank?
The WhistleRank is our 0 to 10 trust score for each casino. It starts with an editorial evaluation by one of our reviewers, who checks licensing, payout speed, terms, support quality, and game variety. If a casino does not yet have enough user reviews, the editorial score stands on its own. Once enough player feedback comes in, the score evolves into a blend of editorial and community input. You can read the full breakdown on our How We Rate page.
What does the "Verified" badge mean?
A review receives the "Verified" badge when our moderation team has conducted additional verification on the submission. This typically applies to reviews reporting complaints or negative experiences, where our editors confirm that the review meets our enhanced verification standards. The badge signals that the review has been through a more thorough editorial check, not that the review is necessarily truthful, but that it has received extra scrutiny.
Can casinos respond to reviews?
Yes. Casino operators can register as official representatives through our dedicated registration process. Once verified by our moderation team, representatives can post responses to reviews on their casino pages. These responses are clearly identified with an "Official Casino Response" label.
How does moderation work?
Every review passes through a moderation queue before publication. Our team checks for compliance with our content guidelines, which prohibit spam, hate speech, personal threats, and content unrelated to casino experiences. We do not edit the substance of reviews. If a review requires changes, it is returned to the author with an explanation.
Can I edit or delete my review after posting?
At this time, editing and deletion must be requested through our contact page. We are working on self-service tools for registered users.
Is CasinoWhistle affiliated with any casinos?
CasinoWhistle is editorially independent. We may earn referral commissions through links on our site, but this never influences our review scores or rankings. No casino can pay to improve its position or modify a player review. For full details, see our Affiliate Disclosure and About page.
How can I report a fraudulent or abusive review?
If you believe a review violates our content guidelines or contains false information, please contact us through our contact form with the link to the review and a brief explanation. We investigate all reports and take appropriate action.
Do you provide gambling advice?
CasinoWhistle is an information platform, not a gambling advisory service. We do not offer betting strategies, financial guidance, or personalized recommendations. Casinos that score highly on the WhistleRank may be highlighted across our site as strong performers based on player feedback and editorial evaluation, but this should not be taken as personal advice to gamble. If you need help with problem gambling, please contact GambleAware or your local support service.
