Bonus Abuse

Bonus abuse is a broadly defined term that casinos use to describe any behaviour they consider exploitation of their promotional offers. This includes creating multiple accounts to claim the same welcome bonus, using low-risk betting strategies to complete wagering with minimal loss, or deliberately targeting only +EV bonus offers without playing "normally."

The problem with this term is that casinos define abuse very loosely and often retroactively. Some casinos consider it abuse if you consistently withdraw immediately after completing wagering without making additional deposits. Others flag accounts that only ever play during bonus periods. In extreme cases, casinos have voided legitimate winnings by claiming the player's betting pattern constituted abuse.

The practical advice: don't create multiple accounts, don't use VPNs to claim geo-restricted bonuses, and don't try to exploit obvious loopholes. But also be aware that some casinos will look for excuses to avoid paying large winners. Read reviews of a casino's payment history before depositing serious money.
