Enhanced Fruit Party New multipliers

Fruit Party 2 Slot Review

Multiplier Grid

Fruit Party 2 moves away from the candy aesthetic of most Pragmatic Play cluster games and leans into a classic fruit machine look built on a 7x7 grid. Released in 2022 as a follow-up to the original Fruit Party, it keeps the 5+ symbol Cluster Pays mechanic but introduces an enhanced multiplier system and a revised scatter mechanic that changes how free spins behave compared to the first game. If you assume the two play identically, you will miss what makes this version worth choosing over the first.

Multiplier Stacking

A 7x7 grid uses the same five symbol cluster requirement as Sugar Rush. Winning clusters tumble away and new symbols drop. Multiplier symbols appear on the grid and attach to winning clusters that pass through their positions, adding their values to the cumulative win multiplier for that tumble sequence. The original Fruit Party used single-position multipliers. Fruit Party 2 allows multiple multiplier symbols to stack when they appear adjacent to each other within a winning cluster. Two adjacent multiplier symbols do not add their values, they multiply them. A 3x next to a 5x gives 15x total, not 8x. That multiplicative stacking was not present in the original.

Base Game

I played 400 base game spins. Hit frequency on the 7x7 grid is generous. Cluster pays of five or more symbols formed roughly once every two spins. Most were minimum-size pays that barely registered, but the constant action keeps the session moving faster than the longer dead stretches in Sweet Bonanza variants. Multiplier symbols appeared in the base game roughly once every 22 spins. When they appeared, values ran from 2x to 25x in the base game. Adjacent stacking occurred twice across 400 spins, producing a 4x and a 10x combined multiplier on pays that happened to run through both positions. Neither paid Noticeably.

Feature Trigger

Free spins trigger on four or more scatters. In the original Fruit Party, scatters could appear on any reel position. In Fruit Party 2, scatters only appear on selected reels during certain phases, which slightly reduces the natural trigger rate compared to the first game. I triggered four natural bonuses across 400 spins, fewer than I typically record in standard 7x7 games. Bonus buy costs 100x stake.

Free Spins

During free spins, multiplier symbol frequency increases and their values push into higher territory. I saw values up to 50x across my bonus rounds. Adjacent stacking during free spins is where the game's best moments happen. Two adjacent multipliers of 15x and 20x produce 300x combined, which then applies to any cluster win that forms through both positions on the same tumble. When a large fruit cluster intersects two stacked high value multipliers, the payout can scale to levels the original Fruit Party never approached.

Across four natural bonus rounds, I saw 45x, 188x, 22x, and 740x. The 740x came from a round where a 12x and a 25x multiplier appeared adjacent during the fourth free spin, stacking to 300x, while a watermelon cluster of 14 symbols formed across both positions simultaneously. The cascade chain that followed produced two more small multiplier appearances, extending the win sequence. My four bought rounds gave me 33x, 290x, 66x, and 150x. Nothing exceptional, but consistent with the mechanic's behavior. The game rewards multiplier adjacency. Without it, returns are ordinary.

Max Win

The 5,000x max win is the same as Candy Stars and the original Fruit Party, placing it in the moderate-ceiling segment of Pragmatic Play's portfolio. The multiplicative stacking introduces the potential for rapid escalation but the frequency of adjacent high value multipliers caps how often that ramp actually occurs. Sessions feel energetic due to the high cluster frequency on the 7x7 grid, even when individual pays are small.

Visuals

The fruit symbols are vivid and easy to distinguish: watermelon slices, strawberries, plums, lemons, cherries, and grapes all have clear shapes on the grid. The backdrop uses a colorful party setting with balloons and confetti. Party themed sound effects play differently from the candy universe scores. Everything has a faster, more upbeat rhythm. On mobile, the 7x7 grid works well in space and remains playable in portrait with slightly compressed symbols.

Summary

Fruit Party 2 improves on the original primarily through the multiplicative stacking mechanic. Players who liked Fruit Party but found the returns too flat will find more moments of acceleration in this version. The higher cluster frequency on the 7x7 grid makes it more enjoyable to run through base game sessions than most Pragmatic Play cluster games. If you want the cluster mechanic applied to a traditional fruit symbol set with a meaningful multiplier twist, this is where to start.
