E-wallet

An e-wallet is a digital payment service that acts as an intermediary between your bank account or card and the casino. You load money into the e-wallet, then use it to deposit at casinos. Withdrawals go back to the e-wallet, and from there you can transfer to your bank. The most popular e-wallets for gambling are Skrill, Neteller, and MuchBetter.

The main advantages: speed (e-wallet withdrawals typically process in under 24 hours and often within minutes), privacy (the casino transaction doesn't appear directly on your bank statement), and separation (your gambling funds are kept separate from your main bank account, which is good for budgeting and responsible play).

The drawbacks: some casinos exclude e-wallet deposits from welcome bonuses, and the e-wallet services themselves charge fees for certain transactions, particularly currency conversion and bank transfers. Neteller and Skrill fees can be steep if you're not careful. Also, some banks now refuse to process transactions to and from known gambling-related e-wallets.
