iSoftBet
iSoftBet started in London in 2010 as a company with two distinct product lines: proprietary games developed by their internal studio, and the Game Aggregation Platform (GAP) that distributes casino content from dozens of third-party providers to operators through a single integration point. The dual model means iSoftBet earns revenue from both their own games and from transaction fees on content flowing through the platform.
The in-house game catalog doesn't command the same player recognition as tier-one studio releases, but it fills a reliable role in operator lobbies. Moriarty Megaways, Hot Spin, and Aztec Gold: Hold and Win are among the stronger performers. The studio produces titles across a broad range of themes and mechanics without specializing in any particular volatility segment. For operators, iSoftBet's own games provide decent content fill alongside the more prominent third-party titles available through GAP.
The aggregation platform became iSoftBet's most strategically valuable asset. GAP connects over 70 game studios to a network of operators, handling compliance, integration, and content delivery. For smaller studios that can't afford to build direct operator relationships, GAP provides market access. For operators, a single iSoftBet integration unlocks a massive content library without the engineering overhead of connecting to each studio individually.
Light & Wonder, the company formerly known as Scientific Games, acquired iSoftBet in 2023. The deal was primarily motivated by GAP's distribution capabilities and the technology infrastructure supporting it. iSoftBet holds licenses from the MGA, UKGC, and multiple other European regulators. The acquisition folded GAP into Light & Wonder's existing OpenGaming System platform, creating one of the largest aggregation networks in the industry.
